I knew of the Hard Rock Cafe and was intrigued by the concept. I went to my first HRC in 1996 with the family and parents while we were all in San Francisco. From that first one (now closed) I knew I was hooked. I made it to a few more and purchased pins at each. In 2004, I heard about the HRCPCC and the credit received for visits to the properties. I joined the HRCPCC that year and began to accumulate as many visits (for credit) as I could, realizing that I had already been to over 25 cafe's without the credit. I have since been to some new ones and returned to as many of the previous ones as I have been able to on my quest for the magic #100.
Total Visits = 58
HRCPCC = 50
As of 5/30/2010

HRC San Francisco
San Francisco, CA - opened 09/10/1984, closed summer 2002
My FIRST cafe visit. Located in an old auto showroom. The city "cows" were around and we took pictures with the cow. Location closed in 2002 and moved to Pier 39 in the Summer of 2002.
Visited in July 1996 with Cindy, Shara & JJ while touring CA on a consulting trip for Apple Computer. (Grandparents along as well.)
Still working on this image.

New York, NY - 57th Street location - opened 04/12/1984, closed 08/11/2005
This was one of the earlier Hard Rock Cafe's. They had recently remolded before my visit, and the 2 story cafe was really cool. We ate on the second floor and enjoyed the memorabilia.
Visited in July 1997 with Cindy, Shara & JJ on a day-trip to the city. (Grandparents along)

HRC Orlando
Orlando, FL - opened 06/07/1990, closed 1998
Located in the Universal Studios lot is the Hard Rock Orlando. At the time, the largest of all the chain, this restaurant has a huge stained glass tribute to Elvis. The outside of the building was labeled "Kingdom of Rock" which is a not-so-subtle jab at the "Magic Kingdom" of Disney World just down the road! The building and parking area are shapped like a large guitar. Visited in March 1998 while at DisneyWorld and February 2000 while attending the FETC conference.

HRC Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, NY - opened 07/10/1996
It seems odd that there are two cafes within walking distance of each other, but that's just a byproduct of the Great Unification that brought the Canada cafes into the "official" Hard Rock family. Apparently, both cafes are holding their own. This Hard Rock is directly across the street from Niagara Falls State Park parking lot. You can see the wonders of Niagara Park all morning and then retire for a great lunch at the Hard Rock.
Nephew Matt G. worked here one summer during college.
Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ while visiting Marianne in July 1998.
HRPCC # 28 on 12/29/07 while visiting Gittermann's.

Niagara Falls, ON, Canada- opened 12/09/1996
This cafe is located in the Niagara Casino complex. We walked over from the US and checked out the place. Pretty crowded with tourists, but we were able to get in and take a short look around on the many floor levels, but it was so crowded, I don't remember much of what was there except the mural's on the walls.

Visited with Shara & JJ while visiting Marianne in July 1998.
HRPCC #29 on 12/29/07 while visiting Gittermann's.

Skydome, ON, Canada - opened 06/06/1989, closed 9/27/09
A very cool addition to the Hard Rock chain, this nice property is attached to the Toronto SkyDome and overlooks the home playing field of the Bluejays baseball team. With most of the "wall space" occupied with a huge bay window, memorabilia is a bit scant, but a real effort was made to make the most of it.

Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ while visiting Marianne in July 1998.
HRCPCC visit # 39 on
07/29/08 while on a day trip visiting the Gittermann's.

Toronto, ON, Canada - opened 06/23/1978
We visited in 1998, before an extensive remoldeling allowing us to take in the original flavor of the #2 HRC to open. Overalll a nice part of the chain, but nothing spectacular. Next door is the Hard Rock run "Club 279," a nightclub for people who want a little more action than a restaurant provides.

Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ while visiting Marianne in July 1998.
HRCPCC visit # 40 on 07/29/08 while on a day trip visiting the Gittermann's.

HRC Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN - opened 04/13/1999
It's a great restaurant with a cozy "Cheers" like atmosphere, and anybody in town shouldn't miss a visit to this friendly place. Located downtown in the major shopping and tourist area of the city. I visited in July 1998 with Cindy, Shara & JJ while also visiting Dennis and family.

HRCPCC visit # 37 on 07/26/08 while in town for the Brickyard.

Universal Hollywood, CA - opened - 01/12/1996
The interior of this HRC is fresh and interesting, with two levels (the "dome" interior is very cool!). Initially, this was referred to as the "Hollywood" Hard Rock, but was renamed "Universal" (to better reflect its actual location on the Universal CityWalk in Universal City).
Visited October, 1999 while attending the ThinkQuest LIVE conference. Got the card swipped with Don, Jeff & Susan while in San Diego for NSBA. Also got to attend the Pin Trade meeting this day.
HRCPCC visit #44 on 4/5/09 on a day trip from San Diego.

Los Angeles, CA - opened 10/24/1982, closed 12/31/2006
Located in the Beverly Center Shopping Mall just outside of Beverly Hills, The L.A. Hard Rock is pretty much typical for the chain. The layout is open and spacious, making it easy to view the expansive collection throughout the restaurant. Elvis' Caddy is embedded in the roof.
Visited October 1999, while attending the ThinkQuest LIVE conference.

HRC Newport Beach
Newport Beach, CA - opened 11/23/1992, closed 06/23/2005
Built on Fashion Island, the architecture is a pleasing mix of both California Classic and more modern design styles. Lots of surfboards hanging on the walls with the centerpiece being a cadillac "woody" suspended over the middle of the bar surrounded by surfboards.
Visited October, 1999 while attending the ThinkQuest LIVE conference.

HRC Chicago
Chicago, IL - opened 06/17/1986
This restaurant has underwent a hefty renovation, and re-opened in August of 2000. The interior is sleek, modern, and a little boring... but hasn't entirely lost its Hard Rock "flavor". My first visit was in March of 2000 while at the NCSSSMST conference. This place has one of the larger seating areas for a HRC.
HRCPCC visit #19 on 04/07/06 while attending the NSBA conference (and staying at HRHotel in Chicago - also attended the Chicago Pin collector's monthly trade session on this visit.)

HRC Baltimore
Baltimore, MD - opened 07/04/1997
A really nifty Hard Rock located right on the waterfront of the Inner Harbor. The building itself is very imposing, because it gives the appearance that the HRC occupies the entire factory (known as the "Power Plant")! One of the cooler features of the property is the guitar-shaped bar that has a Caddy floating over it. The outdoor eating area is very nice, with a great view of the waterfront. I have been to this one five times and counting. The first while at NECC in 1998, then twice more while consulting with Bob, on a vacation with Cindy and JJ in 2000, and on a drive through to get the swipe on the way to PA.
HRCPCC visit #9 on 11/23/2004

HRC Boston
Boston, MA - Copley Square - opened 06/12/1989, closed 06/21/2007
Located at the fringes of the funky Copley Square area, this Hard Rock is packed with Aerosmith memoriable. The main entrance outside proclaimes "Massachusetts Institute of Rock". I visited this one in March 2001 while heading to Worcester for NCSSSMST. They closed this one and moved it to Faneuil Hall in 2007.

HRC Denver
Denver, CO - opened 11/05/1998
No visit to the "Mile High City" would be complete without a trip to this great Hard Rock! A cool split-level design that's packed to the rafters with memorabilia, they've worked hard to create a unique atmosphere in an otherwise pedestrian location.
First visit in May 2001 while attending PIDT,
HRCPCC visit #8 on 10/28/2004 while attending the T+L Conference.

HRC Atlanta
Atlanta, GA - opened 11/09/1992
A classic property in the popular International Blvd. District. I made three visits to this site. They have a great guitar shaped bar. The first from a delayed flight when I realized the subway from the airport would take me there, the second when I was in the city for the T+L conference (spending 3 nights at the bar) and the third for the swipe on a day trip with Shara, Cindy & Dacy. They had remolded and added a stage and bar on the last visit.
HRCPCC visit #27 on 09/15/2007

HRC Washington, DC
Washington, DC - opened 01/01/1990
This is a great property that, along with all the other wonderful things to see and do here, makes a trip to the Nation's capitol a worthwhile event! The location is a bit odd (directly across the street from the FBI! and beside Ford's Theatre). The relatively boring exterior is more than made up for with the cool memorabilia collection inside.
A great Bar back of Guitar tops. So far, I've visited this one more then any others, starting with 4 visits before 2004, then in April 2004, June 2004, May 2005, and December 2005.
HRCPCC visit #2 in June 2004

HRC Orlando 2
Orlando, FL 2nd location - opened 02/27/2001
An amazing testament to excess, the largest Hard Rock in the chain was closed so that an even bigger property could be built down the street! The new Hard Rock Orlando is a mammoth dual-level restaurant with two kitchens, multiple bars, and a Hard Rock LIVE venue attached (which looks like the Roman Colosseum, but is actually more like an intimate nightclub- not an open arena at all). They have the standard car crashing out of tghe building and also had the Beatles Magical Mystery Bus there. Visited in July 2002 while on vacation with Cindy, Shara & JJ and again in February 2003 while at the FETC conference.
HRCPCC #32 on 3/29/08 while in town for NSBA.

HRC Phoenix 2
Phoenix, AZ - 2nd location - opened 02/25/2002
Located across from the America West Arena and in the Collier Center. The cafe is nice enough (though a little slick and cold for my tastes) and the staff is top notch. Still, it's a cafe worth a visit, and the new location is probably a better one since you can pop by after a Coyotes or Suns game. Nice Flying V guitar on the outside.

Visited in October 2002 while in Scottesdale for a Gates Conference.

HRC Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA - opened 01/15/1998
Trips to Philly always seemed like a waste of time because there was no Hard Rock Cafe there! Finally, that was rectified, and there's reason to love the "city of brotherly love." The location is great... right next to the convention center, and the Market. I have visited this one four times so far, some of those with overnight stays and multiple bar stays. They have a great guitar shaped bar. Visited in June 2002 with Cindy, Shara, JJ and Dad, and other visits in December 2005, for the swipe, and in March 2007 with the NCSSSMST conference.
HRCPCC visit # 10 on 06/25/2005

HRC San Antonio
San Antonio, TX - opened 01/12/1995
I found the Hard Rock San Antonio to be an awesome experience! The street-side entrance is an architectural marvel, that looks very "Hard Rock" while still having a classy appearance that suits the location well. But where this property really shines is the lower level, which is right on San Antonio's famous RiverWalk! You can eat outdoors, right on the cool riverside patio... or wander inside and take a seat at the nifty guitar-shaped bar! I visited on three seperate ocassions, the first with Cindy in June 2002 while attending NECC and for the swipe on 9/26/2004 (drive through) and again in March 2005 while at the NCSSSMST conference.

HRCPCC visit #4 on 09/26/2004

Hard Rock Hotel, Orlando - opened 07/27/2001
Had a chance to walk through the hotel in February 2003 while in town for the FETC conference and take in the lobby and other areas open to the public. Walked in some of the guest room hallways, but was unable to get into a guest room, walked around the pool and had a coffee beside the pool. Megan L. stayed here during a cheer event.
HRCPCC #31 on 3/29/08 while on town for NSBA.

HRC Orlando
Orlando Vault, FL - opened 12/30/1999, closed 09/29/2004
The Hard Rock Vault was a museum with a personal guided tour far removed from the Orlando Hard Rock Cafe. My favorite piece was the complete set of Beatles outfits (last seen in Times Square). Another disapointment when it closed. For more, click here — Blogography 2004 Visited in February 2003 while at the FETC conference.

HRC Ft. Lauderdale
Ft. Lauderdale, FL - opened 07/07/1999, closed 05/09/2004
Not only was this property not in Ft. Lauderdale (it's in the city of "Sunrise") it wasn't anywhere near Lauderdale's most famous attraction- THE BEACH (it was in the gigantic Sawgrass Mills Mall, which is as far from the beach as you can get without entering the swamp!). We drove around quite a while till we found it because I didn't believe it was in a mall!! Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ in July 2003 on our Easter trip to Orlando.

HRC Miami
Miami, FL - opened 09/21/1993
Pretty cool place - in a round building on the water at Biscayne Bay in the bustling Bayside Marketplace. Very cool Eddie VanHalen guitar bar. Great venue for this city. Visited in July 2003 with Cindy, Shara & JJ while on vacation here for 3 days after consulting in Miami for ISTE. Made a quick stop to get the swipe with JJ on our vacation to the Keys 12/27/09, HRPCC visit #48.

HRC Key West
Key West, FL - opened 09/27/1996
This is one of my favorite Hard Rocks simply because it is one of the most unique I have ever seen. A two-story Victorian-style house was converted into a cozy restaurant. The unique layout (which affords excellent views of the Rock memorabilia) seems to have been built around the existing house framework, preserving the original structure. The result is a bit cramped, but inspired. The merchandise shop is not located in the restaurant itself (it's in a separate stand just outside), people buying souvenirs don't interfere with the operation of this small restaurant. This is where I dropped a bundle and got talked into the AllAccess card. Visited in July 2003 with Cindy, Shara & JJ while on vacation here for 3 days. Back for the swipe with JJ, Cindy, Shara, Chip & Linda G. while vacationing in the Keys. HRPCC visit #49 on 12/30/09.

HRC New Orleans
New Orleans, LA - opened 12/11/1987
New Orleans is home to a really cool Hard Rock cafe. The location is far enough away from Bourbon Street to avoid being riotous, but the high energy establishment is all New Orleans, and well worth a visit!
They have a great guitar shaped bar and lots of Britney's things.
HRPCC visit #1 on 06/19/2004 while attending the NECC conference.

HRC Austin
Austin, TX - opened 02/27/2002, closed 01/03/2006
This was an odd one. There's always a huge neon guitar, big Hard Rock logos, or some other distinguishing feature that identifies a HRC. Austin, as it turns out, was a bit different. There is only a small logo on the door and another hanging from a "Bar and Grill" sign to let you know where it is! The original building seems to be used to great effect, creating a beautiful tri-level property that retains the interior brick-work and wonderful arching support columns. There's even a stage at the back, making this a "Hard Rock Live" venue as well.
HRCPCC visit #3 on 9/26/2004 while attending an Internet2 conference.

HRC Houston 2
Houston, TX - 2nd location - opened 05/21/2000
While the exterior of this property is pretty boring, the interior looks GREAT. It's located in the theater district right next to Minute Maid baseball field. A lot of care was taken to make a visit interesting... from the "Lone Star Room" to the impressive memorabilia wall and centrally located bar. Some good Stevie Ray Vaughn stuff. Drove over from Austin.
HRCPCC visit #5 on 9/27/2004 while attending an Internet2 conference.

HRC Dallas
Dallas, TX - opened 11/28/1986, closed 03/04/2007
This has been my favorite HRC to date. I was very dissapointed when I heard it closed. The building (built in 1904) used to be a church, and when the restaurant moved in they kept as much of the interior in tact as they could. The outside boldly states that this is the "Supreme Court of Rock & Roll," and it isn't a lie. They have a great guitar shaped bar. The memorabilia is amazing, varied, and EVERYWHERE... one of the best "museums" in the entire chain. The Cheese Club room was great. Drove over from Austin.
HRCPCC visit #6 on 9/28/2004 while attending an Internet2 conference.

HRC Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg, TN - opened 09/05/1999
This is a pretty awesome location, where the city itself is a destination attraction. Dozens of wedding chapels (including one at the Hard Rock where we attended a Pin collector wedding) and a Disney-like layout of this exciting and beautiful place, makes Gatlinburg worth a visit... with or without a HRC! I traveled here for the Pinapoloza event in 2004 with Cindy, JJ and Cooper. We slept in a local hotel and enjoyed the entire day in Gatlinburg - including the walk though aquarium.
HRCPCC visit #7 on 10/02/2004

HRC St. Louis
St. Louis, MO - opened 08/04/1988
I enjoyed the Hard Rock property here quite a lot. Built in Union Station (all under the train station roof), an old railway station that has been converted into a really cool shopping complex complete with indoor "lake," the layout of the restaurant is inspired, and the building itself is both fun and interesting. I sat at this table with Elvis for my lunch. Visited while in the city for the NCSSSMST conference.
HRCPCC visit #11 on 03/09/2005

HRC Atlantic City
Atlantic City, NJ - opened 1/15/1996
This Hard Rock Cafe sits within the huge Trump Taj Mahal complex... actually adding some class to the area! I made the trip here three times so far. The first with the family in 1998 on the way to Ione's, the second while in the city in 1999 for NECC and the third for the swipe while staying in Philadelphia at the 2005 NECC conference. They have a great guitar shaped bar.
HRCPCC visit #12 on 06/26/05

HRC Cologne
Cologne, Germany - opened 04/28/2003
The HRC Cologne is a fairly nice dual-level property, but kind of abandons the classic Hard Rock "look" that is the signature of most cafes. The cream-yellow paint is replaced by mustard and rust... and the beutiful wood and brass accents are missing. Still, the memorabilia is well distributed. The second floor has restrooms and a pool hall. Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ
HRCPCC visit #13 on 07/05/2005

HRC Berlin

Berlin, Germany(old location)-opened 05/18/1992, closed 4/25/10
Great atmosphere inside with lots of small rooms off to the sides. The place was packed with school kids when we were there, so no time to eat or drink. Was able to trade some pins with one of the bar tenders. Outstanding piece is a car from the U2 hidden inside one of the side rooms. They have a nice guitar shaped bar. Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ
HRCPCC visit #14 on 07/06/2005

HRC Rome
Rome, Italy - opened 12/10/1998
Located on the trendy Via Veneto, this property turned out to be quite a bit smaller than expected for such a new addition to the chain, but a great experience nevertheless. The architecture inside was a bit of a missed opportunity but given the small space considerations, I guess a rock-n-roll interpretation of the Sistine Chapel was out of the question. Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ
HRCPCC visit #15 on 07/09/2005

HRC Munich
Munich, Germany - opened 02/25/2002
This cafe is across the street from the famous HofBrau House, where we ate (with Bert, Angie & Danial) before visiting the HRC. The architecture is classic with a large, open area dining room, and nicely appointed second-seating area that doubles as a private-function room (and is packed with gold and platinum record awards). The theming is classic, and the numerous stained glass panels behind the bar adds a unique touch to an already impressive property. Visited with Cindy, Shara & JJ
HRCPCC visit #16 on 07/14/2005

New York, Times Square - opened 07/02/2005
They needed more space and visability and found it right on Times Square (of course). Taking over the first floor and basement levels of the old Paramont Theatre, this is the ideal place for the NYC cafe. Very spacious and great memorabilia, including the set of Beatles outfits I saw at the Orlando Vault. They have a large stage area and it is reported this is the #3 tourist stop after the Statue & Empire State Building. Shara, Chip & JJ visited in December 2005 and I stopped a couple of times while in the city for the NEXTfest conference in 2006.
HRCPCC visit #17 on 10/28/2005

HRC Chicago
Hard Rock Hotel - Chicago, IL - opened 02/02/2004
Chicago's landmark-status Carbide and Carbon Building gets a Hard Rock makeover, transforming from an historic skyscraper to an elegant, fashion-forward hotel. The location of this 40-story architectural wonder couldn't be better. Whether you're up for shopping on the Magnificent Mile, strolling along the Lake Michigan waterfront, or taking in the sights and sounds of downtown Chicago, everything's within reach.
HRCPCC visit #18 on 04/07/06 while attending the NSBA conference, stayed four nights.

HRC Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City, UT - opened 06/30/1998 - closed 12/7/08
This is one of the more unique cafes - not because it is some stunning architectural marvel, not because it is in some fabulous location, and not even because it has the best memorabilia (though Donny & Marie do rock hard!)... no, it's because you can't walk up to the bar and have a drink. There is no bar! In Utah, alcohol can only be served in private clubs, so to have a drink in this cafe, you have to buy a membership to "The Brickhouse" (a private bar hidden upstairs). The strangeness of walking in and not seeing a bar doesn't detract from this classy dual-level property (or its great staff!), but it does make it a Hard Rock to remember.
JJ swipped my card when he was there for a student conference on 10/6/2006.
HRCPCC visit #20

HRC San Francisco 2
San Francisco, CA 2nd location - opened Summer 2002
San Francisco finally has a cafe where people can find it... right at the entrance to Pier 39 The interior is nicely appointed and very "classic Hard Rock", with memorablia highlighting the numerous bands the Bay Area has produced over the years. Trip made with Jeff Bain while attending NSBA in San Francisco.
HRCPCC visit #21 on 04/13/2007

HRC Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe, NV - opened 06/03/1998
Located inside Harvey's Casino in Stateline Nevada, the Tahoe cafe is a beautiful example of design reflecting location. This property is designed to look like a mountain lodge, complete with wooden fixtures and deer-rack lighting. A seperate (second) merchindise shop is at the opposite end of the casino. The entire HRC is inside the casino, so outside the main entrance is over-flow seating and a stage for live music - along with more HRC memorabile. Drove up from San Fran with Jeff Bain while attending NSBA in San Francisco.
HRCPCC Visit #22 on 04/14/2007

HRC Sacramento
Sacramento, CA - opened 08/22/1997, closed 3/27/10
Located in a mall, my favorite features are the now-standard dome mural above the bar and the stained glass artwork (that isn't Elvis, for once!). We happened to be here for supper on the local Prom night and had to sit at the bar. Stopped in on our way back from Lake Tahoe with Jeff Bain while attending NSBA in San Francisco.
HRCPCC visit #23 on 04/14/2007

HRC Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach, SC - opened 07/10/1995
One of the more interesting destinations rewards you one of the coolest restaurants ever! This pyramid-shaped marvel is as entertaining inside as out, and features a cool Egyptian theme. JJ swipped the card while in town for Senior Week.
HRCPCC visit #24 on 06/22/2007

HRC Memphis
Memphis, TN - opened 11/16/1997
If you are not into Elvis, Country Music, or the Blues... then Memphis probably isn't for you. But if you're in the neighborhood, the Hard Rock here is worth a look. Located on historic Beale Street. This property is fairly typical for the chain, but does have some great Elvis and Sun Record stuff. Ate dinner here with Marianne, Shannon, & Cindy
HRCPCC visit #25 on 08/12/2007 while in town to see Shannon G. get her Ph.D.

HRC Nashville
Nashville, TN - opened 06/21/1994
The Hard Rock here proved to be a great treat. If stuck in Nashville, it will be a welcome retreat from the constant barrage of Country tunes that permeate the beautiful city. The layout is nifty due to the long, narrow nature of the building (with a second merchant shop located on the property). They have live music and a great guitar shaped bar.
HRCPCC visit #26 on 08/14/2007 while on our way home from Memphis.

Tampa Casino, FL - opened 03/12/04
This is the only HR Casino (as a sole casino) I have been to. The casino is decorated all around with great 'stuff' and some of the games have a HR theme. There is also a hotel, but credit for a visit is via the casino's Rock Shop. Listed as the Seminole Hard Rock Casino - this may be one of the influences to their later purchase of the entire HRC base.
Visited with Cindy & Linda while in Orlando for NSBA.
HRCPCC visit #30 on 3/28/08

Destin, FL - opened 07/02/04
Pretty small cafe located in this beach town area. I was surprised at the location. I thought it would be closer to Panama City Beach (Spring Break Capitol) but this is apparently doing well as it is located next to a BassPro Shop in a large mall. Cindy and I visited this one on our way to an NSBA conference in New Orleans.
HRCPCC visit # 33 on 7/20/08

Biloxi, MI - re-opened 06/28/07
This cafe is located inside the Biloxi Hotel and has re-opened after Katrina. Small in size, but there are other restaurants also located inside the hotel. This one has some of the new-style memorabilia displays that the refurbished cafe's are starting to use. Cindy and I visited this one on our way to an NSBA conference in New Orleans.
HRCPCC visit # 34 on 7/21/08

Biloxi Hotel, MI - opened 06/28/07
Nice that you get a second count for this hotel considering there is also a Cafe here. Cindy won some money ($2.50) as I looked around. Lots of memorabilia in the lobby and not as much in the casino proper. They also have a concert hall here. This is on land and totally rebuilt after Katrina. Cindy and I visited this one on our way to an NSBA conference in New Orleans.
HRCPCC visit # 35 on 7/21/08

Louisville, KY - opened 05/31/04
The Louisville location is located at 4th Street LIVE - a one block area partially under roof and in the "Hot" section of the town. Nice lighting, but a smaller cafe. Pretty large seating area outside (under the roof) and some nice stuff inside. The bar is the main attraction on the inside part.
HRCPCC visit # 36 on 7/24/08

Cleveland, OH - opened 07/02/98
Ran into this cafe while traveling from Dennis' place to Marianne's. Located as part of a large shopping area this location had some nice views of the river and some nice memorabilia. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and was not able to spend too much time here.
HRCPCC visit # 38 on 07/28/08

Pittsburgh, PA - opened 06/24/02
Very cool interior. The outside is prety bland, but the inside makes up for it. Great membriabilia all around with very high ceilings. The bar is something to see.
HRCPCC visit # 41 on 07/31/08 while heading home from a visit to the Gittermann's.

Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego, CA - opened 10/15/07
Got to spend 5 nights here with Don while attendiong NSBA in April 2009. The 2 restaurant/bars hand opening night complete with Red Carpet and we got to see Mini-Me. Great roof-top pool bar and also great location with plenty of other restaurants. Memorabilia was a little sparce. Had some cool stuff from CBGB's and also nice hand-written song sheets from a numbr of artists. Best stuff was on the conference meeting room level.
HRCPCC visit #42 on 4/3/09 and stayed till 4/8/09.

San Diego, CA - opened 7/21/98
Spent an evening at the bar while in town staying at the HRH for the NSBA conference in April 2009. Great memorabilia with a complete stained glass ceiling above the bar from a local BPOE club. Also had a cool motorcycle at the end of the bar when I was there. Good selection of local beers on tap.
HRCPCC visit #43 on 4/3/09 while in town for NSBA.

Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY - opened 3/30/09
New location in New York - inside the new Yankee Stadium. Great location and great cafe. Merchandise goes fast during the baseball season. JJ stopped in for me about a month after opening day and they were out of pins. He went back to swipe the card and found a few pins in stock.
HRCPCC visit #45 on 5/4/09 by JJ.

Hollywood, FL - opened 5/11/04
Cafe inside the hotel/casino. Similar to the Tampa and Biloxi set-up. Not a bad cafe. Lots of cool Beatles stuff around. The area has an outside like a CityWalk with tons of other places plus a HR Live venue. Looked at first like the original Ft.Lauderdale location. Unfortunately, I was on a time schedule and visited for 10 minutes. Got the swipe with JJ on our vacation to the Keys on 12/27/09, HRPCC visit #46.

Hard Rock Hotel, Hollywood, FL - Opened 5/11/04
Hotel/Casino set-up very similar to Biloxi and Tampa. Great memoriabilia around the lobby and also within the casino proper. Didn't get to any of the rooms or hallways on this trip. Made a quick stop to get the swipe with JJ on our vacation to the Keys on 12/27/09, HRPCC visit #47.

Dallas, TX (New location) - Opened 07/01/09
The new location is near the Southern end of the Victory Park urban development center and right where I spent a lot of time on my last visit to Dallas -no HRC open - (same street as House of Blues & Hooters). One of the new style Cafe's with stylized new wave design. Not as nice as the older ones. Not as much memoriable in the store. One new feature is the interactive touch screens in all the booths that allow you to view all ther HRC memoriable in their collection. Visited on 5/23/10 while in Austin for Camelot, day trip for lunch.
HRPCC visit #50.
